Certainly, the clothing should be washed at 30°C, not tumble dried, and only iron when necessary.
Turning the clothes inside-out and washing in a standard or delicate cycle will help minimize shrinking, twisting, and fading. After the cycle is completed, take it out, reshape it while damp, and hang it to dry.
